Annapurna Foothills trek is one of the low-level treks in the Annapurna Region. The trek in the north-central part of Nepal is one of the easiest and most demanded treks to explore the lower Annapurna region.

Annapurna Foothills trek lets you discover the magic of the Himalayas on this short trek taking you through the foothills of the Annapurna range in Nepal. The views offered by the trek are truly jaw-dropping. 

Gazing upon some of the highest peaks in the world, including the sacred Annapurna and Machhapuchhre peak the trek provides a friendly stay throughout the trek.  The trek is styled lodge to lodge, in the immense Himalayan Panoramas.

Welcome to the Himalayan country of Nepal. Our representative will be waiting for you at the Tribhuvan International Airport to welcome you and assists you to transfer into your hotel in Kathmandu. After getting some time to get refreshed, we'll meet again in the evening. We'll go for the welcome dinner in one of the typical Nepalese restaurants in the heart of Kathmandu where we will also have a short briefing about our trip. Overnight at the Hotel.

After breakfast, we will start the day with our guided trip to cultural world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley that includes visits to the pilgrimage sites of Hindus Pashupatinath temple, the world's biggest Bouddhanath Stupa, the monkey temple Swoyambhunath Stupa. We will take a historical trip to Kathmandu Durbar Square to explore its temples, unique architecture, and Kumari (living goddess). In the evening, we will have a pre-trip discussion and introduction with our fellow trip staff for your adventure trip.

After breakfast, we will transfer you to the airport for your further flight to Pokhara. Once we reach Pokhara, we'll check in at the hotel. We will explore the surrounding lakeside areas for the rest of the time. Overnight at the hotel.

We will drive from Pokhara following the Seti River valley to Kimche, where the trek begins. We will ease in with a gentle walk along a ridge in the lower foothills of the Annapurna range. Traverse paddy fields of rice and crops, with oxen driven by local villagers. Reach the village of Ghandruk (elevation 1,940m) to a warm Nepalese welcome at your lodge. Relax with spectacular views of the Annapurna Mountains and the valley below. Overnight at hotel.

Rise early to watch the sunrise illuminate the surrounding peaks. After breakfast, we set off on your descent into the valley on the iconic Annapurna Sanctuary route. Pause at Shauli Bazaar, and then follow the Modi River to the village of Majhgaun (1,408m). A friendly welcome and meal await at your accommodation.

We'll enjoy a satisfying breakfast before setting off through fragrant forests of oak, rhododendron, and silver birch. We will then emerge to incredible views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli, and Lamjung. The walk continues to the lively little village of Pothana and downhill to Dhampus (1,650m). The lodge home for the night will be the home styled as an old Gurung village house. You can find your perfect spot in the garden to drink enjoying the superb views of the Machhapuchre (Fishtail Peak) and the Annapurna range. Overnight at hotel.

After enjoying breakfast on the lawn, we will bid farewell to Dhampus as we will be descending through the wooded hillside and terraced farmland to the valley floor. We will arrive eventually in Phedi, where the trek will come to an end. We drive to Pokhara for your overnight stay.

As the trip comes to an end, you can go for any last-minute shopping for souvenirs or gifts for your family, friends, or relatives for you until your departure flight/drive. If you have planned any trips or activities with us, we will go for that. If you are ready for departing, you'll be transferred to the Tribhuvan International Airport for your departure flight to your onward destination.

Yes, the Annapurna Circuit trek is very worth going. Despite the vehicle road construction along the wa, and the difficulties you will face, the trek will be worth going after the beauty you will be blessed in the trail and destination.

The Annapurna Base Camp Trek has its maximum elevation at 13780 feet but the Annapurna Circuit treks will take to over 17770m . There is difference of 4000m between two hikes.

The temperature ranges per season. During autumn, the time of travel, the weather ranges from 5-15 degree celsius during the day and 5-7 during the night with the cold winds blowing every time.
